Is my alevel combo good enough for product design bsc at leeds uni?
Im currently in year 12 doing alevel maths, alevel art and design (fine art), and btec IT (data analytics). Im also doing an epq based on dt.
I want to apply for product design at the university of leeds after year 13. I also did dt and cs for gcse and got mostly 7s and 6s in gcses.
If I get the required alevel grades, would leeds consider this subject combination acceptable for product design?

Yes they ask for AAB and alevel DT is desirable but not essential however they also don't mention anything about alevel maths, fine art or btec it.

Fine art will most likely quality as an art and design related subject which is great 👍
Their requirements dont take anything about a levels and btecs in combination, I would contact the university about this directly before you apply

Yes, your combination should be fine. Leeds generally wants Art/Design plus one other academic subject, and you have Art & Design + Maths, plus relevant experience through your EPQ in DT. Your BTEC IT adds useful skills but isn’t strictly required. As long as you meet the grade requirements, you’d be a valid applicant.
