University of Leicester Filbert Village

Hey I’m looking into staying at Filbert Villge for my first year of uni at Leicester, I just wanted to know if it was any good.

Is it mostly DMU students or UOLei students? And can you have people sleeping over??

Hi @Simrah._.81

As Filbert Village is private accommodation, it is can be used by DMU and UoL Students. For first year, I strongly recommend staying in university-managed accommodation as it is a great way to make friends with other first year students who will also be studying UoL.

If you are interested in having student accommodation near the city centre, like Filbert Village, then I would suggest our City Accommodation. It involves a wide range of room types and prices, but is a great place to stay if you want to easily make friends and be near the city . You can find out more about this accommodation by clicking this link The City | Accommodation | University of Leicester, and it may also be worth checking out our village accommodation The Village | Accommodation | University of Leicester. I stayed in Freemen's Common (city accommodation) in my first year and I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
