So I had two interviews with the university of reading and university of east anglia on the 3rd and 4th of december. I am now stressing because I have not heard back from them is that because i got rejected or do they take quite a while to respond? also i applied to bath foundation year and i know a girl who applied to bath pharmacy but as a 5th option and got an interview should i be worried or do they take their time to respond. i also applied to durham health and human sciences
Please rest assured🤗, universities usually take a minimum of 2 of weeks to respond to interviews, some may take longer. It is also nearing Christmas holidays which is a very busy period for universities and academics.

Hi there, I hope you are doing well.
Please do not worry, like Sarah from Kingston University has said, universities take a little while to respond to interviews, especially for competitive courses such as pharmacy, which have a high volume of applicants. For example, I had my interview for MPharm at Reading around the end of February 2024, and got the confirmation for my place in early May 2024, so it does take a little while.
In the meantime, if you have any questions about studying Pharmacy at Reading uni or about the university in general, please feel free to ask us questions here on The Student Room, or you can contact one of our ambassadors on Unibuddy if you’d like I hope you have a lovely winter break!

Hi,
Some universities may get back to you within a few weeks, while others may wait until after the UCAS deadline in January. Don’t worry, everyone is given equal consideration, and if you haven’t received a response yet, it just means your applications are still being processed.
Hope this helps, best of luck with your applications!

hi! I hope your interviews went well I just want to ask you to the how was the reading interview? what kinda questions were asked?
Similarly, there is a guide to the interview questions that may be asked. They are not the exact questions you will be asked, but they help to see what questions may be asked. The University of Reading offers an ambassador scheme, allowing prospective students to connect with current students through messaging; more information can be found here.
The University of Reading assesses every application on an individual merit basis, ensuring that every student's application is considered; this is the contextual offers scheme. However, this does not mean that every student receives an offer from the university.
When I was applying to the university, I found it very helpful to attend an Open Day. However, for students who live far away or do not have access to an Open Day, there is a Virtual Tour that prospective students can view from the comfort of their own homes. I highly recommend taking a look at the Virtual Tour, as it offers an insightful view of the campus.
Please don't worry about not getting a response from Bath yet. I myself also a pharmacy student also waited until March before receiving my interview offer. I know it can be stressful not hearing back but focus on the main thing you haven't been rejected yet! The university also like to wait to usually offer interview dates after the UCAS deadline.
