Completely messed up my UCAS application

Right so, I inputted my application wrong (yes i know im an idiot but i go to a very small single subject college in which there is one teacher that sorts out ucas applications). we don't have a careers advisor and so are pretty much left to our own devices. ive had a nightmare submitting the application as i put my grades in wrong. i called ucas to sort it out, and i thought it was all done until i get an email from brighton uni saying i dont meet the grade requirements. i got a D for my first year btec and was predicted a DDD so i was confused by this. called ucas and they said that i had no predicted grades inputted into my application due to the change. brighton then offered me a contextual offer as i apparently was predicted MMM despite getting a D in my first year which makes absolutely no sense. I obviously applies to unis under the pretence that i was predicted a DDD and am now crapping myself that i wont even be considered for any of the unis i want to go to. UCAS said to ask my referee to email the individual unis but they are out of office until late january. I believe this is what you call absolutely cooked.

Did you use the qualification amendment form?

predicted a DDD so i was confused by this. called ucas and they said that i had no predicted grades inputted .... (Brighton) as i apparently was predicted MMM.

You seem to be very confused about your predicted grades - and what was actually entered by the school.
DDD, MMM or no grades at all?

its so silly. basically- i was always told my predicted grades were DDD. however, no predicted grades were input into my application (upon first submission) and after i used the qualification amendment form to fix the issues i was having. i then got an email from brighton uni saying that my predicted grades were MMM despite me calling UCAS and them telling me my application just states they are pending grades. i am quite confused as it seems we have all been told different things, and i have no idea where brighton pulled those grades from in the first place.

thats kind of what started this mess. i accidentally put my predicted grades as an actual received qualification (meaning that my college wasnt able to input my actual grades in the system). i filled out the amendment form and they just kind of reset.. leading me to have no real predicted grades on the system. then for some reason i get am email from brighton uni saying that my predicted grades are MMM so i dont even know where they got that from.

saying that my predicted grades were MMM

You need to find out if these grades came from your school and from whom.
