How flexible is the university of birmingham?

I was rejected recently because I missed the GCSE threshold by one grade and I've been thinking of applying through clearing instead. However, I've been told the University of Birmingham are extremely strict about GCSE requirements.

I'd always say attend an open day. They will be able to tell you the most relevant information and you can directly ask course tutors and academics.
