A-levels or BTEC

Has anyone done the level 3 extended diploma in engineering??
I'm thinking of switching my three a levels (maths, physics and biology) (in yr 12 currently) to do a btec instead. I want to do Biomedical Engineering at uni but I'm finding the speed and pressure or a levels too much? Are BTECs any easier in regards to pressure or speed? Also I've searched up the content of the course but couldn't find much is it mainly just maths. Also how many lessons do you have a week.
Any help would be very appreciated!!

if you want to do biomedical engineering then stick with a levels because doing a btec in engineering will close lots of doors as most unis require a levels for biomedical engineering!

ontop of that, swapping to a btec will likely require you to redo year 12 next year

Then a hefty academic degree course at Uni is probably not the best route for you - look at apprenticeships etc instead.
