Politics A level bad grades

I’m currently in a levels. I revised for an assessment and got a U. it was paper one politics. I cried so much, devastated by this grade because I don’t understand why I got it. Any exam tips or revision techniques I could use? I don’t prefer blurting, or active recall. So far I’ve been doing exam papers and a two notes technique for each topic.

Hey @Sephora20085,

Some great advice above!

It would be best to speak to your teacher about your recent grade; after all, they are likely the person who marked your assessment. If you don't understand why your response warranted the grade you received, it would be best to clarify where exactly you fell short in terms of the assessment objectives. It could be that you didn't develop your responses enough or wrote responses that weren't wholly relevant to the questions being asked - luckily, these are relatively easy fixes with more practice and structure.

Try not to worry too much about a disappointing grade at this stage; you still have a lot of time to improve and your commitment to completing past papers/writing notes strongly suggests you soon will. 🙂

Best of luck,
Eve (Kingston Rep).
