Cambridge HSPS chances

So I want to go to Cambridge (like thousands of students) but I underperformed in my GCSEs compared to the academic weapon with 14As. I know Cambridge looks at GCSEs holistically and compared to my non selective state school I did good. I got 9888776655 with a 5 in maths 🥲.
Now I go to a much better sixth form with loads of people wanting to apply to Oxbridge which may of rubbed off on me. If I get predicted 4As and a great PS should I apply and get my hopes up. Also if I do should I apply to a college with an assessment like Peterhouse to almost prove myself extra worthy?

Last question, I promise. Does getting diagnosed with autism, thus requiring extra time and breaks during exams, count as extenuating circumstances? Thanks!!

All Cambridge colleges appreciate academic growth, so you should be able to apply to whichever college you like the most (if that's Peterhouse, then go for it!).

If you got the extra time and rest breaks, that won't hurt your application and they will actively support you however they can but it is unlikely to be an extentuaing circumstance specifically unless you received a late diagnosis or a received a lack of other support that specifically affected your learning.

Which course would this be for? Also note that the minimum entry requirement for any course except the foundation year is A*AA, with A*A*A more common for STEM subjects. Having four A-Levels will provide no additional benefit, and sacrificing an A* for AA would make your application less competitive.

I want to do HSPS and for extenuating circumstances, I meant that I didn’t get extra time or breaks in any of my exams because of the late diagnosis, so that may of affected my results
