Is it worth applying to courses that are subject to validation.

I want to apply to Egyptology and Classics BA at the university of Liverpool and saw on ucas that this course is subject to validation. I tried look at their website but cannot find anything.
And wanted to ask anyone if they had the same experience?
Did you get accepted?

On the website, it looks loke there is only 'BA Egyptology' being offered.
Phone Liverpool on Monday and ask - 0151 794 5927 - emailing will take too long to get a response.

First of all - great course choice! I did Egyptology at Liverpool myself. The course should still be running as it's popular, but I believe courses go under review every few years, which is probably what's happening here. Worst case scenario, you can probably start on the BA in Egyptology and take a minor in Classics/Ancient History, then transfer to the joint programme at the end of your first year (I know quite a few people who did that).
