I work in tech and have a strong law/policy background, aiming for industry roles in tech policy. What about you?

I have an academic background (Faculty member of a university), but have also worked for the NHS for a number of years and have some (only a little) legal experience as well. I’m interested in the law / policy side too, especially as it relates to global health and patient data. I’ll complete a doctorate after the MPhil hopefully.

I'm thinking about applying, but don't know how strong my chances are. I've got a related first class bachelors degree from Oxford but for the past three-four years, I've done run-of-the-mill jobs almost completely unrelated to tech, AI, philosophy. Can someone already doing the course advise?

Just apply and see what happens. Very little effort needed to submit an app brother.

I have an academic background in both Philosophy and Data Science/AI. I hope to find more overlap between the two fields in this MPhil. Applied in December but application status remains unchanged as of yet.
