Optometry 2026 at st george city university

I originally planned to to dentistry but got a bellow average ucat (predicteds and gcse whete not a problem) got rejected pre interview for all my dent choices and now im stuck with only 1 offer for optom. I got a contextual for BBB and domt know if i should persue optometry or not- i’ve done my research and find it pretty interesting. As of right now i’ve decided to NOT persue optometry if i get grades AAA as ikl just take a gap year and re sit ucat. i would appreciate any help

Take your ucat before results day, that way you have your grades and ucat and can make an informed decision whether to take a gap year or not

got mine some time ago, like aroind the 28th of october? but i did apply early bc i applied for dent

I applied around mid December and got an offer 3 days later
