Have you been to any Ashton open days? I’d recommend going to open days, checking the university website, reaching out to students on here or through official channels according to Ashton’s website etc.

Is there any course in particular that you’re interested in?

No problem! I've moved your thread to the Aston forum now and updated the title to reflect it's Aston so hopefully you can get some more advice from people now

I’d recommend keeping an eye out for 2026 open days and attending one if you can (virtual or face to face):
https://www.aston.ac.uk/open-days

Or minimum doing a campus tour or attending any offer holder days.

I don’t do mechanical engineering or engineering in general so I can’t give as detailed of a breakdown but have you looked at the course structure on their page here? :
