Hi, is it true that from January 2026 students will not be eligible for the maintenance loan unless they have a disability?

Hi Dinita,
Students who are doing a course distance learning due to disability won't be eligible for the Maintenance Loan, unless they're doing it due to disability and can provide evidence of this.

You can check this with the university. If you are attending a brick university, you can apply for the Maintenance Loan.
