Best book for ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY is by ROSS AND WILSON

You don't really need to get it because you should be given a PDF list of what books etc you'll need for your 3 year's of studying as a adult nurse from the university when you start your coursework in due course, also you can borrow books from the university library and there's always your local council libraries that you can ask.

Now if you are buying a copy of the book maybe consider the last version which was published instead of the newest version as there's not much difference in them as only thing that they tend to change in each version is any updates on technology and medication etc.

Hi, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Global Edition by Elaine Marieb has good ratings. I would encourage you to use the reading lists provided by your lecturers, which can be accessed online so you aren't buying materials, these may also be closely aligned to assignments as well. You might be able to find the list on canvas if that is a platform used within your place of study.

Depends on what your university prefers you to use (you should be getting a reading list at some point), what they have available and also which one suits you the best as well.

Books are expensive, so it’s worth seeing what your university has available before spending money if you want to, if you’re keen on owning something it’s also wise to use your university library to “test drive” some of the books available to see which suits you the best.

I see Ross & Wilson and Marieb have already been mentioned here, my personal favourite is Tortora’s principles of anatomy & physiology. I have a copy of this and still regularly use it when preparing teaching.
