EY Reserve list 2026

Just wondering if anyone else has been put on the reserve list this year? Has anyone heard any success stories either or know how it works?

What will happen if we don’t end up getting an offer. Doing the whole application process next year seems a waste considering we passed the application process

I read through a lot of last years one and it seems dependent on the person.
Some seemingly skipped to EYX, some had to reapply completely

There were people in my eyx this year who went straight there but they all failed at the interview stage from the previous year . They weren’t even on reserve list

Then i'd imagine you'd get the same treatment having passed the final interview

No I’m saying surely it makes sense if we go straight to partner interview again as the people in my eyx had failed the interview. But we have all passed it

When did u do the EYX and interview? Which tax area did you end up interviewing for

I did the AC at the start of Dec and had my final interview 18th Dec. The tax area was PAS. What about you?

Ah I see, I did the EYX end of october and the interview 3rd Nov and then got the offer for tax Birmingham end of November. I only thought id ask because I am not entirely sure if I will be sticking with EY or going elsewhere. But my offer is for corporate tax GCR and yours is more like global mobility tax so even if I turned my offer down it would be offered to whoever is reserve for GCR tax instead. Just wanted to see if I could give you some hope 😭
