Liverpool Hope University

Hello 👋, I'd like to ask if Liverpool Hope University is a good University in terms of teaching quality, ranking, flexible enough for international students to work and study? And yes, is the location worth it? Thank you!

As a recent graduate of Liverpool Hope, I found the teaching quality on my course excellent! All of my lecturers were really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly so if I needed help with anything I felt very comfortable to go and ask for it.

I found the university was definitely flexible for work and study. The campus has loads of great study spots if you want to study with friends or by yourself and there are a lot of jobs available on our campuses for our students including working as a Student Ambassador (which is extremely flexible), in the food court, the cafe's and in the sports centre.

I definitely think the location is worth it! The main teaching campus is in a gorgeous area with great bus links into the city centre and there's still plenty of things around nearby to do if you didn't want to go into the city. I lived on our main Hope Park campus in my first year and absolutely loved it!

If you have any more questions feel free to ask!

I'm starting there as a mature Postgrad after a nightmare experience at MMU. So far it seems positive. Smaller classes so you'll get more tutor time and you're not a statistic. I'm a home student so I don't have the same restrictions as international students. But being a City there's loads of part time work etc. The location is a bit out of the way of City centre, so if you don't drive you'll have a bit of public transport commuting to do.
