Surrey Uni vet med costs

I have an offer to study at Surrey for vet med and I think it’ll be my top choice. I’m just a bit worried about costs. I’ll be a Welsh fee status so Im aware this is more maintenance loan than other fee statuses but it’s still a concern for me. How much is living in Guildford? How much will it cost to do IMR and still maintain accommodation in Guildford? Thanks in advance.

Accom with an en-suite on campus (all bills included obviously) is £190 I think. Obviously u can get cheaper accom without en-suite. I live off campus in a 6 person house with friends which is £150 a week bills included. In terms of drinks and stuff it’s a lot cheaper than other places like Reading, you would be surprised

How much maintenance loan will you be getting?
Being under SFW puts you at a massive advantage compared to SFE (especially when comparing to those of us on the SFE minimum loan).

It’s difficult isn’t it! I completely appreciate it may be harder for English students if they’re in the lowest loan bracket but it’s still a worry to be moving away from home into England which is more expensive than at home.
