A level options

I would love to have a career in creating art for companies like theme parks or any type of art really but other than art I have no clue what other A levels to study for that particular job. What should I choose?

Hey @Ellisa.B,

Most undergraduate art courses in the UK are fairly flexible in terms of which A-Level subjects they accept: having at least one Art & Design related subject (e.g. Art and Design, Textiles, Photography) should meet the majority of subject requirements for visual arts courses. However, do note that some courses recommend applicants complete a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design before undergraduate study, and more technical courses such as Architecture may require A-Level Maths.

In terms of which A-Level subjects to choose, aside from Art I would suggest choosing subjects you genuinely enjoy and believe you can do well in. You could always have a look at some relevant courses (concept art, production design, interior design, architecture, landscape architecture) to double-check specific subject requirements. 🙂

Hope this helps,
