(please reply) Durham uni- Foundation

Hi! Can anyone who is applying or applied to a foundation programme at Durham uni please respond with their qualifications such as A-levels and what part of the eligibility criteria made them qualify.

My dream has always been to study History; however, despite having the History GCSE to qualify me to study it (I got a 9), my school's History A-level class was too full. I saw with the History foundation programme at Durham that it is for students who have the potential to meet standard requirements but couldn't do so due to extenuating circumstances.

I was wondering if I fit this as I achieved A*A*B in my English, Religious Studies and Politics A-levels showing that I have the potential to achieve if I was allowed to do History A levels which is a requirement for direct entry into the History programme. In terms of eligibilty,I am also in a low Polar Quintile area (quintile 3). Do you think this is enough for Durham to accept me or am I too under or overqualified for the programme? Thank you for reading!

Contact Durham admissions - they are the only people who can tell you if you qualify for their course or not : UK student enquiries - Durham University

If you don't, there are other Foundation years designed for those with unconventional educational backgrounds such as :
CertHE Foundation Years | Study at Bristol | University of Bristol
History with Foundation Year BA | Education | The University of Sheffield
