Biochemistry at imperial uni or pharmacology at Cardiff university

Personally I prefer pharmacology over biochemistry, but I’ve got these offers. which one should I accept - which one is easier for me to get a job after graduating

Imperial biochem is real hard to get in, I think u should go with imperial. Congrats on the offters btw

I would go with Imperial, if you can afford the cost of London. You could always pick a few Pharmacology related modules if they are optional. Though be prepared to work hard at Imperial, as they see themselves as almost the equal of Oxbridge, and it will show in the work load and difficulty of assessments. Cardiff would be a stroll by comparison.

If you wanted to go into research, the option of an MSc / MRes in Pharmacology would be there later on, as a precursor to a funded PhD. Although a masters isn't a requirement, a lot of students now do one to build their confidence and research skills ahead of a daunting PhD programme.
