1.
Firstly be confident and be yourself. The staff want to see who you are as a person.
2.
Make sure you're aware of the different skills of a Dr and have some volunteering or work experience examples you can use to demonstrate what you know. Make sure to reflect on your experiences in you answer (how did the Dr deal with that situation, what did you learn, how did it make you feel etc)
3.
Look over the hot topics and have an understanding of what they are and what each topic is teaching you. A few examples of hot topics are: junior doctor strikes, funding and structure of the NHS, health inqualities, obesity crisis, workforce shortages.
4.
With MMI interviews, treat each station as a fresh start. Don't take the baggage from one station to the next
5.
If you don't have someone to practice with, voice record your answers to questions and listen to them back.
6.
Try practising with a family member, friend or even a teacher at school.
I hope this helps!
