Considering graduate prospects, nightlife, and rank for law (also overall rank) which should i apply to?
Academically, there is no significant difference between the two.
It comes down to where you will feel happiest - if you have not been to Open Days, have a look at the Open Day/Campus Tour films on YouTube, and look for the 'tourist' websites for each city. Also check carefully for any course differences - placement opportunities, study abroad, participation in Law Clinics etc that will add to your CV.

Hi, it's great to hear you are thinking of applying to the University of Southampton for law!
Southampton is a friendly city, with lots of clubs, bars and pubs popular with students both in the town centre, and in the Portswood area. The bus passes given with university run accommodation in first year really help you to explore the city and be able to enjoy the nightlife!
You can find out more about the law course at Southampton here, including what you will be taught, entry requirements, and accreditations. There are also testimonies from graduates and current students that will give you a greater insight into what it will be like to study at Southampton.
To pick between universities I would always recommend attending open days as this really helped me decide. You can find out more about open days at the University of Southampton here.
I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any more questions! Rachel (UoS student ambassador)
