am i cooked? kings ai and philosophy

has anyone got an offer yet or last year? or does anyone know anyone that had received an offer for it?

its a new course so there isnt any information about offer rates and what grades you typically need to be let in.

My gcses were a bit below meh (7766555532), and i got bummed with my predicteds as a result. My teacher said despite my test results, I wasnt able to get predicted above a B because I joined the class in y13 (I didn't meet the requirement to pick it for a-levels initially so i self studied), and because i didnt take two of my other subjects at GCSEs, they were capped at an A because of my gpa - despite test results again being top 5 in the year but whatever 😪.

so anyways my predicteds are now A*AAB so idk if I'll get accepted since my application doesn't look v strong rn. I go to a high performing sixth form and went there for gcses too, and i don't qualify for extenuating circumstances.

A* maths, A computer science, A politics, B further maths.

the idea was to apply cambridge and imperial for computer science thats why i took fm. i dont plan to drop it though because i believe i can achieve higher than a B in the real thing.

That makes sense then (why you took 4 A-levels). I mean you meet the entry requirements whether you’re cooked or not probably depends on how competitive the course is, your overall stats etc.
I think that if you’ve already applied it’s simply a waiting game till May until May in my opinion especially as the course is new so you might not be able to guess as accurately whether you’ll be accepted or not.

The 2 and 3 were in spanish and history respectively, so i dont think they really matter. I mean my overall gcse profile is quite weak regardless but yeah at least its not maths or something.

I know it's only been a month since this was posted, but has anyone heard back for this course? My predicted grades are AAA in maths, computer science and chem. Idk what my chances of getting in acc are.

I havent heard back either, lmk if you hear anyone else getting in. I havent been able to see anything online.
