Could I realistically get in without the TMUA but with great predictions and personal statement/ reference?

The Warwick website says that "TMUA scores may be used as a factor in determining which applicants receive an offer for Economics L100." and doesn't mention the same for EPAIS. So I assume from that the TMUA would only be used for a reduced offer, not getting one in the first place?

If I’m most likely to get a bad score am I better off cancelling it or chancing it

Not sure for straight Econ (although it's been discussed so read online for some insight if you are applying there) but for EPAIS I can gather that it'll only benefit you in getting a reduced offer. If you take it and don't do well, nothing lost, but if you take it and do well, it benefits you. I would say go for it
