where is the best accommodation to stay in on singleton campus at Swansea university?

Hi, I am planning on studying Law at Swansea starting in 2026. I just wondered what accommodation block is best to stay in with an ensuite and self-catered. I have heard Caswell and Langland are good but I would like to know what the best one is. Can someone help? Thanks.

Im going to be studying law too! Also have the same question, Im kind of considering looking at Bay campus and firming the commute as ive heard bay tends to be cleaner/nicer for accom. E.g. double beds vs single beds

Hi Lily! I am Lucy, a first year law student currently studying and living at Swansea Uni! I live in Preseli, which I am loving because of how much storage we get and the huge windows in all the rooms (I even have a sea view!). I like that it is a bigger flat with more people but also having 2 kitchens, because it means you have the opportunity to meet lots of new people without being overwhelmed in the kitchen. But all the ensuite accommodation offers you everything you need it just depends on what you are looking for personally. Have you been to one of our open days because this may give you a better idea of what you prefer? If you have any other questions just let me know!

Hi, I'm Lilian, another student rep, and I live and study on Bay Campus. The accommodation is newer, we have small double beds and tend to have larger rooms. I have a few friends who live on Bay and commute to Singleton to study and for them it is worth it, as the bus trip is only 30 minutes and they have bought a yearly Frist Bus ticket. However, like Lucy said, an open day is a great opportunity to view accommodation on both campuses to decide where you would like to live and if the commute is worth it for you. Let me know if you have any questions about Bay Campus accommodation or the buses.

Hey, Lilly! as a student at Swansea University for the past four years, I can honestly say that living on campus really enhances your overall experience.Being based on campus means you are just minutes from lectures, the library, study spaces, and social facilities, which makes day to day life much easier and helps you feel part of the community. The accommodation is affordable, starting from £135 per week with all bills, internet, and contents insurance included, so there are no hidden costs to worry about. You also benefit from 24/7 security and support, inclusive living options to suit different needs, and guaranteed accommodation if you apply before 30 June.I’m really happy to answer any questions you might have about accommodation or student life, so please feel free to ask.
