Hmmm... friends. My best friends are all just wonderful... but I don't know if I could pick out exactly what it is about them that is so great... it's everything together :smile:

They're all loyal and trustworthy, and they're all slightly crazy and they're all scarily honest!

What would someone have to do in order to be classified as one of your friends? I'm finding that there are very few people I'd actually call a friend. I haven't met any real ones since my freshman year.

What would someone have to do in order to be classified as one of your friends?

Ummmm, understand and support me which hardly anyone does. If they are not Christian, understnad I am and wont watch programs with ghosts, the paranormal, or horror films. Sound at least interested when I talk about music and not tell me to shut up every two seconds, none of which is happening at the moment, well at least in a year and a half I will be in uni! lol

well, i think a friend is just someone you talk to :smile:

I have cyber friend, friends and good friends.....

cyber friends are people i just chat to on MSN, i know them from college and uni', we never meet, and we just chat to pass time

friends are people i just chat to, but don't get too involved in their personal life, its more like chi chat .....like "how are you?", "hows your day?". They are usually my group members of my modules at uni' or people i get along with at work

good friends are people i am close with, we can talk about personal things and we can joke with each other.

i don't have a best friend......i don't think i ever will....but its cool, i have 2 good friends!!! :wink:

I Fell out with my best friend of 7 years last month we haven't even looked at each other. So my out look on Friendships is pretty B;eak at the moment so my definition of a Friend is:

Someone who Uses you for all you got, then screws you over :frown:

they are people who you spend month with no contact with and when you meet them you find that it fees as if you were with them the day before and that it hasn't been actully years,and the ones who you really feel sad because they are going away :bawling:

Yeah, it gets complicated for me because my roommates are very much into the drinking scene. I'm trying to be as kind as possible but I wont compromise.

That's the thing. I don't think I know anyone I'd just like to hang out with just because they are who they are, besides my family members. But what you have with your friends sounds wonderful.

two good friends, if they're true, are more than some people may have in a lifetime

Someone who laughs at your jokes even if they aren't funny!! haha.....hmm.. :flute:

Also you know you can go and talk to them about anything, you feel confident with them and you can be yourself when your around them :dancing:

And a friend - I dunno - those people whom you trust and are always there for you - they don't have to be people you hang out with all the time... I dunno - guess a few people in my life has displayed qualities of true friendship towards me, and yet we don't know each other very well at all - yet they care so much anyway :smile:

I find that they generally have to be Christians though - cus otherwise the outlook is all different and how you'd go about things, advice etc are all different and they won't understand how you're feeling and you can't understand why they think what they think and you end up with more trouble than you first started - cus they simply can't understand even if they wanted to... But the reliable friends whom I've met also all turned out to be Christians - they're a real blessing :dancing:

Yeah I dont want to fill my mind, also I do I have to admit get scared which isn't good becuase I have to work in a job where your mind wanders...

Oh and ditto, I find Christian friends a lot better but I dont have many as there are bascially none at my school - which is where Ispend most my time.
