How do I make a good study timetable?

Hi! Can anyone share tips or templates for making an effective study or revision timetable? I want to organise my time better 😊

hi! my tips are to keep it realistic, so don't say you're going to revise 8 hours a day if you don't have the time or energy too (I'm definitely guilty of doing this - it's just ended up in me seeing my timetable and giving up), and also be specific! don't just put 'revision' in your timetable, write the subject and what you're going to do, e.g 10:00 - 10:25, drama portfolio section 2. I like using the pomodoro technique where I revise for 25 mins, then take a 5 min break, and I repeat this 4 times and then take a half hour break. hope this helps!

As someone going through the study period for mocks (In Jan) and r struggling to stick to a timetable, I started to treat the week as if i was still in school (Mon-Fri). So i would get up a bit later as i didn't have to catch my bus but started to revise what I had on that day using my school timetable. In my school we have 1h lesson w 5 min changover time (time to get to lessons). So my day would go -> 9am: Maths, 1005am Bio, BREAK 25 MIN 1125 RS, 1230 DT 1330pm LUNCH 230 English.

So in summary
1h
5min
1h
5min
25 MIN BREAK
1h
5min
1h
1H LUNCH
1h
END OF DAY.

This is what worrked for me. hope this helped
