Waiting for a UAL interview

I applied to UAL and submitted my portfolio, but I haven’t heard anything about an interview yet, which is making me a bit anxious.

I heard that UAL is closed until around January 5 due to the winter break, so interview emails might not be sent out until then.
Does anyone know if this is true or have a similar experience?

I'm having the same issue. But yeah I'm pretty sure most universities are closed until the new year. I haven't seen anyone getting any interview offers or anything. Did u apply to chelsea?

Hello, I understand the worry of waiting for portfolio interview invites. It’s a common concern on The Student Room this time of year. UAL offices are closed for a couple of days because of the winter break. That means no interview emails will be sent during this period, as teams aren’t processing applications. They will start reviewing portfolios and sending invites in batches once they return, usually within the first one to two weeks of January, especially if you applied by the UCAS equal consideration deadline.

Be sure to check your spam or junk folder just in case! If you haven’t heard anything by January 10, feel free to email the course admissions team. You can find their contact details on arts.ac.uk under your specific course page to ask for an update!
