Changing universities and. Courses

I’m currently in my foundation year at University of Leicester studying computer science,I want to change my course and different universities because I’m really struggling with my course and there’s a high chance I won’t pace it,I have decent a level grades (ABB),can I just fill out a ucas application for the universities I want with year 1 entry and will they look at my a level grades or foundation year grades.I hope they they don’t look at foundation year grades as I don’t think I’ll pass it

You must declare the Foundation course - its considered fraud if you don't, something UCAS and all Unis take very seriously. And yes, the other University may take these grades into account in assessing your suitability for degree level study, even it its in another subject.

Yes it is possible to submit a new UCAS application for this cycle for year 1 entry to a new course, but you will have to declare your full educational history. The equal consideration deadline this year is 14 January. Bear in mind that there is a new format for personal statements and you will need to contact your referee to check if they can meet the deadline.

What do you hope to study instead of CS?

Okay cheers,I’ve already done all of that, let’s say the course I apply I already meet the entry requirements through a level/ucas points would they still want my foundation year grades?

Yes, they will want to know about your current academic performance.
