How is everyones grad scheme applications going?

It’s now the end of December and I’ve been applying since September/October and hasn’t progressed much, I wanted to know how others are getting along in their grad applications? I know some people have probably applied for 100+ at this point but idk how that is possible with all the fricking stages and assessments and amending cv for each role?! :smile:

For reference, I’m applying for a range of roles, primarily within finance, consulting, risk, etc.

I've applied to a bunch. I've had 1 final AC that I didn't pass, 1 final interview to hear back from and 1 interview next week.

Nah I’m busy tbf (maybe in late January or in February I can). I need to apply for an internship though but I couldn’t prioritise fixing my CV over December (due to issues).

I started applying for grad roles in September 2024 which was the start of my final year and in last year's cycle I managed to get 1 AC which I got rejected from. I applied to around 30 roles in my final year which didn't appear to be enough as I ended up graduating with no job lined up, and a lot of people I knew who had jobs for when they graduated had applied to significantly more than that. I started applying again in September 2025 and have had many hirevues, 1 final round that I was rejected from and another final round that is coming up in a few weeks. In total I have done 154 applications since September 2024. Since September 2025 I have spent around 20-30 hours a week applying to grad roles and it is so exhausting.

Applied to 70 roles since June, had 2 interviews but fumbled both. It's not looking good ngl. I've done applications each year throughout uni and I've noticed it's getting harder and harder.
