is medley worth it?

Im considering purchasing medly, prior my school provided us with UpLearn but they cancelled the subscription, it was really good for understanding content for biology, i keep seeing that medly is good for exam practice (which is what i need) but is it actually worth it? especially if im going to be paying £25 a month

Hi @19zbepary

I highly recommend looking at the reviews on medley first and comparing it to your experience or other reviews on uplearn. I understand uplearn is priced much higher so I understand why you are diverting to medly, however it's important to remember there are a lot of alternative resources too. Exam board official text books and pre-made revision cards are excellent and tailored directly to your course. Additionally, I used lots of educational YouTube videos during my A-levels (make sure they are from reliable sources), which is free!

I also recommend speaking with your school to see if there are any other services they are subscribed to that can support your learning.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,

hiya i'm currently in year 12 as well, i do bio (aqa) chem (ocr) and psych (ocr as well), i used medly for both my gcses and a levels, i cant lie it was quite **** during gcses (typing the math out and the chatbox crashing out is awful) but i recently subscribed it again since nov, i did see an improvement in bio (i went from D to B) and in chem (D - C), but i found some questions on bio doesnt lines up with what my school does so its kinda confusing, OCR chem was amazing though and they didnt even have OCR psych on it. i have to be honest i dont use it every single day (i rely on my anki flashcards) but if you dont mind paying £25 per month it would be useful, personally my parents dont mind spending money on revision resources so the money wasnt a big deal for me. it does have a lot of questions and the chatbox helps me really well! ps i've also found that it has improved massively since summer, the chatbox rarely crashes out and i actually understand things more
