BSc Economics and Mathematics chances??

My A Levels are Maths, Further Maths + 2 humanities. I don't take A Level Economics (due to a clash with one of my humanities subjects), and this is my second time doing year 12. None of the subjects I do now, besides normal maths, were offered at my previous school where I did year 12 the first time, so the only qualification I am resitting is AS Maths.

What are my chances of getting into a good university for Economics and Maths (or similar courses)? Is there any chance of getting into LSE, UCL, etc? I meet the entry requirements for places like Duhram and Bath, which accept resits, but am I a less competitive applicant due to my circumstances? How much does it affect my chances of getting in?

Economics is one of those subjects with such limited worldwide provision for education that you usually wouldn't need it at a level for university. I couldn't tell you about your university chances, but if you get good grades in your resit it should help.

A-level Economics is not required for any economics degree.

Excellent grades in maths and ideally FM are what is neccessary.

Taking maths over 3 years may make you be considered as less competitive for some universities e.g. LSE. That doesn't mean you can't get in but it might indicate it'll be a longer shot.
