Nottingham Uni Question as an International

Hiii y'all
I'm wondering bcuz I may be exchanging over to Nottingham for a semester next academic year. What's the weather like for each of the semester? Google did not help much, pretty much just said that it'll be cold regardless of if I went Autumn semester or Spring semester.
Would appreciate it if I could get some answers on the weather and sunset time, and decide on which semester to exchange :h:

In Autumn, the days become shorter as you head towards Christmas with it getting light at around 7.30 am and dark at 4.30 pm in December. The days begin to lengthen from late December and daylight hours peak in June. Have a look at the following:

The campus at Nottingham will be at its prettiest in Spring when the crocus and daffodils are in bloom.

Hello!

@normaw's post is spot on. The daylight hours gradually dwindle over the Autumn semester whislt the opposite happens during the spring. The coldest months are generally December-February with temperatures increasing slightly each month from March all the way to the summer.
