Sfe payment in progress after withdrawal

I took a break in study from my course and was told it was all completed and that uni had notified sfe on 16th December. It is now 2nd January and I have checked my sfe and it says, payment in progress and that I will receive my payment like usual. It also says university have confirmed my enrolment. What do I do, will I receive payment ??

Someone with more expert knowledge (e.g., the SFE reps) will have a better answer than this, but it sounds like you ought to ring your uni and/or SFE up to work out what's happened before everything gets too much in a muddle.
With what you say you were told, I'd guess someone other than you has done something wrong(?), but the sooner you tell them something's amiss, the faster it can be seen to.

Hi there(:

your best getting in contact with sfe if you receive an unexpected payment, they will be able to sort it and explain the situation

best of luck,

You need to call SFE and ask them if they have been notified by your uni of your break (it looks like they haven't). SFE will also be able to advise you how to return any payment you receive.

Thank you for the reply, I have been in contact with them and they said the payment will go through as an overpayment and I will need to repay it. The problem is, I took a break from uni due to mental health issues due to financial hardship, the bank that the loan will be paid into is going to to eat up that money automatically due to overdraft. I have no idea what to do

If it's a student bank account with an overdraft facility, you can go back into overdraft to pay the loan back.
