I'm in my second year of BA History at Queen Mary. I am really enjoying it. The modules are really varied and interesting. I have just finished modules on Medieval London, Soviet Union and Madness and Medicine (British psychiatry). I like that there is no exams in this course, everything is coursework and with the move to Programme Level Assessments (basically you do module assignments, plus 2 essays per semester), they are relatively well spaced out.
Student life is good. There are lots of societies (more than 100 I think) for whatever you can think about. And the bar/cafes are good. I like being in London (I commute and have lived here all my life). There are tons of museums/places, my favourite is the Science Museum and Hampton Court Palace. Residences do lots of events to help people bond and celebrate events.
As a Uni of London student, you have access to the different university libraries and Senate House, so you can get access to more books. And, of course, the British Library (which does seem to be perpetually on strike at the moment).
If your able to take a trip down to London, we do campus tours here as well, so you could do one of those while you are in London having a look around.
