Advice for GCSE AQA Combined Science

I'm doing AQA Combined Science GCSE, but I didn’t have a teacher in my class and I’m really behind on the content 😅. I’m thinking about taking Physics for A‑level, so I need to nail the higher paper and get a solid grade 📚. Any advice would be massively appreciated! 🙏

Hi!

Having also been in the same situation as you before, I suggest you get on the Specification for Combined Science AQA. On there, you'll have the whole syllabus for the GCSE Exam and everything you need to know. Using this, you could write notes, flashcards - whatever you do, you cant go wrong because its come straight from the Exam Board so it'll help you to cover everything.

These are the specification - but as you are doing combined, where it says
(biology only, chemistry only, physics only)
make sure you skip those topics as they are for Triple.

These are the specs:
https://www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/biology/gcse/biology-8461/specification/specification-at-a-glance
https://www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/chemistry/gcse/chemistry-8462/specification/specification-at-a-glance
https://www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/physics/gcse/physics-8463/specification/specification-at-a-glance

Hope this helps!

I’ve been hitting the spec non‑stop 📚—biology’s teacher is awesome and I’m actually learning, chemistry’s got a student teacher so I’m barely picking anything up, but physics is solid and I’m scoring good grades in both physics and biology 🎉.
