MMU law

Is anyone applying to MMU law first or foundation year? How is it going? And what is the uni like? I haven’t been myself but hoping to apply however I’m not sure what it is like!

Hi

If you would like to find out what it's like to study at Man Met you can chat with our current student ambassadors and check our their digital content here: https://www.mmu.ac.uk/chatwithus. Whilst there is now law student on there the ambassadors will at least be able to give you an idea of what it's like to study at Man Met and live as a student in Manchester.

If you apply to us for our LLB (Hons) or Foundation Year Law, and receive an offer for September 2026 entry, you will be invited to an Applicant Visit Day in the Spring term. These take a similar format to the open days, and you will be able to attend a subject taster session, chat with the law academics and current students. Students find the visit days invaluable as they help to decide whether the uni and course are right for them. You'll be able to ask any questions you may have too.

If there is anything you would like to know about the course itself, you are welcome to ask on here or use our Course Enquiries Live Chat.

Hope this helps,
Mel 😊

Look for MMU Campus Tours and Open Day films on YouTube.
Btw, MMU is massive and with over 33,000 undergraduates is one of the largest Uni in the UK - the majority of Unis have half this number of students. Will MMU suit you best or would a smaller, cosier Uni be better?
