A-Level Biology OCR

Hi, Im looking at buying a A-Level ace (formally snap revise courses) for biology because I used their videos for the biological molecules topic and that's my strongest, I also need a way to teach myself the content so my notes are super detailed and I like videos for this (I used cognito for the whole of gcse and I want an equivalent) the only issue is the alevel ace is £72 for a year so does anyone know if it is worth it? I cant find any OCR YouTube videos that are in this amount of depth. Does anyone know another website or subscription I should get?

Can you help?

I personally would say it isn't worth it. However that is me personally + with the fact I haven't used their resources before
I would say websites like MME, YouTube being miss estruch, clare biology, freesciencelessons

Hi there! I currently study biomedical science at London Metropolitan University.
Revision is always tricky to approach but it sounds like you have a good idea of what helps you, which is good. I can't say that I would personally choose a paid subscription with so many free materials available but ultimately it is your choice.

I used Seneca Learning for my biology gcse and a level - it has all of the content, provides notes + asks you questions at the end of every topic to consolidate your learning. YouTube channels such as FreeScienceLessons also explain in great detail. The most helpful tool when it comes to revision is using past papers to practise.

I hope this could help! And good luck with your studies!
