As the title says. Still waiting on their offers and it's been ~2 months

University admissions staff have been on leave since just before Christmas and won't be back at their desks until Monday 5 Jan. They may also be waiting until after the UCAS Jan deadline before making the bulk of offers. Unis have until 13 May 2026 to enter all their decisions, and many offers will be made this late.

My son got an offer from York ages ago. I think October as he applied early and the offer came back very quickly. Good luck.

I have gotten a contextual offer from bristol and york. Also a normal offer from Manchester. I didnt apply for Warwick

I'm sorry we've taken a while to reply, but it's great to hear you've applied to study at York! 🎉
We don't usually give a timeframe on sending out offers, as this will depend on the department and course you have applied to, your qualifications and whether any more information is needed (eg an interview). Please don’t worry if you haven’t heard yet, though! If your application was submitted by 6pm (UK time) on 14 January 2026, the universities you applied to will have to respond to your application by 13 May 2026 (according to key UCAS dates).
