Bump grades up in 4 months

Im currently predicted BBB for english literature, economics and psychology. Realistically i'm probably around a A/B for English, B for psychology and probably C/D for econ. Is it possible for me to get 3 As by the time alevels roll around or am I already fried?

Hi @rgerfefrer

I hope you are well! The grades you will get will depend massively on the amount of work you put into revision before the exams. Obviously the more revision you do then the better grades you are likely to achieve. If you put in some hard work over the next few months and make sure you are doing appropriate revision then yes of course you will be able to achieve high grades!

My best advice for revision would be past papers. I think they are an excellent way to learn how to go about certain questions and to also understand what the examiners are looking for when they mark your answers. You can access past papers online usually or ask your teachers if they are able to share any with you. They are also good for practicing time management for the real exams!

Make sure you factor in breaks and rest periods during your revision though as you don't want to burn out too quickly! Good luck with everything and I hope the exams go well!

Let me know if you have any other questions, I am more than happy to help!

Matt 🙂

Hey @rgerfefrer,

Focus most of your attention on Economics; if you're already working at an A/B in English Lit, it shouldn't be too difficult to secure an A with some extra revision closer to the time. For A-Level Economics, have a look at the Tutor2U website - they have lots of free study notes/revision videos which can help you better understand any concepts you're struggling to grasp. 🙂

Best of luck,
Eve (Kingston Rep).
