Vet science gateway Bristol
Is it true that Bristol won’t consider my personal statement at all because I feel like I couldn’t talk about all my vet experience within my SAQ and I’m scared that puts me at a disadvantage as there is limited space in the course .

Hi!
It is true that they won’t consider personal statements. Bristol can be quite competitive so they will only look at them when they need to. RVC is the same. Lancashire on the other hand as well as some other foundation years will only rely on personal statements! I had applied to Bristols gateway year but unfortunately they rejected me straight up as my predicted for Biology was one grade lower than they wanted.
Have you applied to any other foundation years? I’ve made a thread looking for others who have so we can chat about entry, interviews etc.

I applied to rvc foundation year and done the interview so just waiting to hear back now and I got rejected from Nottinghams foundation year so it’s just Bristol and rvc now 💔
