Advice on ECAs

I'm in AS and there's a lot that's confusing me now. I've always been an overthinker as well. I haven't participated in any ECAs be it clubs/entities or sports. I did try out when the term began (volleyball and debates) but due to conveyance and commitment issues I've pretty much dropped out. I only joined an entity end of December. I understand that ECAs build up your profile for uni and also become a source of socialising. My academics are fine so far.

If I plan on committing time to it now, will it be beneficial to me? Am I too late? Does everyone feel as clueless as I am?

personally i think that they don’t really matter it’s more of a way to take a break from your academics, focus on supercirculars as that’s what your most likely gonna talk abt in your personal statement
