Data Science LSE for Computer Science personal statement?

I want to apply to top universities for computer science, and I also want them to be in London, so there aren't many options. Because of that, I'm thinking of also applying to the Data Science programme at LSE, as my personal statement is heavily related to machine learning and AI. I have participated in some competitions of data analysis, built architectures that analysed data (although visual and textual). But it is indeed with the intent of applying to computer science, not data science, and it has no introspection on economics, politics, and the social aspect of data. Should I still apply to LSE Data Science?
