Chemistry uni interviews

I have a potential offer from bristol uni, for a course in chemistry but ive been put on hold.
im not too fussed about whether i get the offer or not, but have a feeling ill be made to do an interview.
Does anyone know what kind of questions chem interviews ask - none of my other uni choices have asked for an interview.
online ive seen the oxbridge ones and theyre rlly complex, do other unis ask similar questions??
if anyone has any idea pls let me know

Chemistry interviews aren't actually too common afaik. Whilst I never applied to Bristol, I applied to study chemistry at Oxford, Imperial, St Andrew's, UCL and Durham (basically all Russell group minus St Andrew's, which I believe is part of the Wallace group) and only Oxford and Imperial bothered to do interviews. The others just gave me offers without interviewing. My understanding is that this is generally the case for subjects that are at most moderately competitive.

I can't actually share what my interviews at Oxford and Imperial consisted of (code of conduct), but my advice to you would be to cover as much of A level chemistry as you can if you still feel you want to prepare for the possibility of an interview.

Why do you think Bristol will interview you - this University rarely interviews outside professional courses.

Only if they are a mature student who need a maths test, or have unusual quals.
