I love setting myself New Year’s Resolutions: even if I don’t stick to them for the entire year, I always feel like I’ve bettered myself in some small way that adds up in the long run.
My New Year’s resolution this year is to practice yoga at least once a day. My main aim is to improve my general flexibility and get more active – I spend a lot of time sitting down and staring at screens each day and I’m hoping yoga will act as a cost-effective, low impact form of exercise which will easily fit into my uni schedule. My uni also runs a few yoga classes at the campus gym (Lifestyle Fitness) which I soon hope to get involved with. 🙃
Four days in, I’ve practiced every day for 20 minutes. I plan to eventually increase this to 30-40 minutes, but don’t want to rush into longer sessions in case I pull a muscle. I also still have a few uni assessments to complete which are taking up most of my time right now. 😅
Feel free to share your resolutions below, and let me know how you’re getting on with them!
