No timetable yet

Hi

I’m a student at BCU for adult nursing in January’s cohort and I haven’t received my timetable yet. Any idea when I will? I have emailed student support but no reply as yet.

Thanks

Hi @Dubaiblue

Sorry to hear that you have not received your timetable yet, however try not to worry as there can sometimes be delays with it.

When did you complete your enrolment? Sometimes it can take a bit of time for everything to go through before you get your timetable. Hopefully you should receive your timetable soon, however if not then you could email again or contact your course team once your course starts.

In the mean time, this link: https://www.bcu.ac.uk/student-info/welcome/nursing-adult-bsc-hons-jan has the information for your induction week so that at least you know when you need to be in during your first week.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi i am also an adult nursing student starting in 2026 January and I’m wondering how virtual placements work and if I can get in person ones instead

Hi. Im not entirely sure how the virtual placements will work myself, however you still have to do in person placements alongside the virtual ones.

Hello,

From my understanding (although I haven’t experienced any virtual placements), they make you use simulation apps for different patient scenarios along with online workshop information in line with the speciality of the department.
