Returning Student & Student Finance Troubles

I have previously gone the BIMM Bristol, completed Yr1, repeated Yr2 but failed unfortunately. If I was to go back into studies at another university, would I still have my final year of student finance? As I only studied 3 out of the 4 years at BIMM Bristol or is there a hold back, due to me failing the Yr2 criteria?

Funding for a new course is calculated as follows by SFE:

Length of new course + 1 - years of previous study

So if you started a new three-year course, the calculation would be:

3 + 1 - 3 = 1 year of both tuition fee and maintenance loan funding. This would apply to the last year of the course, so you would need to pay the tuition fees for the first and second years. You should still be eligible to apply for a maintenance loan for all three years of the course.

The NHS bursary would fund year 5. With two years of previous study, you would need to pay the tuition fee for your first year of a medical degree.
