Hey!
Choosing your dream University is hard but here's some things that helped me decide:
Module Descriptors:
Please have a look at the modules to see which suit your interests and likes better. They may differ in some aspects! I wanted more practical based assignments and modules when deciding on my University. See which modules may also be optional, if there are any.
Location:
Is the location fine for you? Do you see any fun things nearby? Are you happy about living there for the next couple years? I narrowed down some options this way!
Accommodation:
Is accommodation guaranteed or do you need to sort your own in advance? Do you need to stay in their accommodation the entire year, are you allowed to work part-time? Some unis have these rules!
Travel Connections:
Can you explore and get home easy if you need to? If this matters to you, do you research in advance.
Affordability:
Can you afford it with SFE or own loans? Will you need to undertake part-time work? Are there any bursaries or grants the University can offer you when you join? Do you need to apply to external ones?
These are all questions you can consider having narrowed down your options already. At the end of the day, it's all about your needs!
