GYG for 2026/GCSEs in general

I’m in yr10, starting my GCSE journey. For reference, the subjects I study are:
- Maths (IGCSE Edexcel)
- English (IGCSE Edexcel)
- Computer science (OCR)
- Design & Technology (OCR)
- German (IGCSE Edexcel)
- History (IGCSE Edexcel)
- Triple Science (my school decides whether I do double or triple at the end of the school year based on mock tests we do for sciences, as well as end of year exams. Fun fact, I sat the biology mock test today. Fairly confident.) (IGCSE Edexcel)

My goals for this year and for my GCSEs in general are:
- Get 8s & 9s in my mocks (and even though they’re next year, improve those grades into straight 9s. It’s gonna be a grind but it’s possible! I think!)
- Do triple award science
- Get through to at least the finals of the BAFTA YGD (personal one, not really studying but would look amazing on my cv and for ucas)

I’ll update with the status of these tasks every so often, so if ur interested (which I doubt cos like who cares about some rando’s goals yknow) watch this thread.

hi again, it went pretty well thanks. In fairness, i spent around 3-4 hours a day revising most days of the Christmas holidays soo….
