Sixth form interview

Hi
I have a sixth form interview on Sat and don’t know what to do, what to wear, what to say ect. This school is my top choice as I really liked the atmosphere, how they pushed their students to achieve their best and it is is really close to my home (aswell as having the subjects I want to do). The only thing tho is that it’s really early in the morning and I’m afraid I won’t be able to wake up in time. I’m also getting 5s & 6s without revision so I don’t know whether that’s high enough to let me in or not but I really really want to go here.

Any advice? Thx

It’s not popular if that’s what you’re asking. It’s a technical college secondary school

Check their entry requirements for the subjects u want to take, if ur grades dont currently meet those then prepare to explain to the interviewer say that ur in the process of implementing new revision techniques and understanding/working on mistakes made in ur mocks (basically just show them evidence of how you’re planning on improving the grades), know why you want their sixth form specifically (facilities, teaching etc), know why you are choosing your subjects (for a certain career you want, enjoyment at gcse, etc).

To wake up on time just go to sleep a little earlier than usual to ensure youll get 8 hours or minimum 7 of sleep. Also for example if you have to wake up at 6am for the interview wake up at 6 the day before the interview even if it means you only get around 6 hours or so that night. Becauee of this youll be naturally sleepy at an earlier time e.g 10pm and you can then easily sleep for 8 hours and wake up at 6.

Hope this helps and good luck!!😊
